1 cup of sugar
5 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of shortening
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
Have all ingredients at room temperature and place altogether in a large mixing bowl. Beat for 3 minutes until well mixed. Grease and flour 8 in square pan (or any other pan). Pour brownie mixture into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
